• Twenty-Eighth Annual General Meeting of the Johannesburg Chapter of The Compassionate Friends to be held on Saturday, 13 August 2011 at 14:00 for 14:30 at TCF Centre.
• Candle Lighting to be held on Wednesday, 23 November 2011 at St Columbas Church, Lurgan Road, Parkview, 2193

“Compassionate Friends Golf Day”

For a number of years The Compassionate Friends has run a most successful golf-day. This has raised many thousands of rand for our funds.

As it is not fair to expect the same golf committee members to shoulder the burden of this event, year after year, we would like to appeal to those who would be able to join this committee to come forward and volunteer their assistance for the 2011 event.

We are planning for the event to take place on a proposed date, Friday, 11 November 2011 at the Kyalami Country Club.  Organizing for the event is expected to start around June or July.
